- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued Solicitation number DAAH03-02-1001. This Solicitation is issued as a request for Quotation. The Solicitation Document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-01 Effective 22 Oct 2001. This will be a Firm-Fixed price unrestricted procurement, NAICS Code 513322, Small Business size standard 1,500 employees. The following is a list of line items numbers including quantities and units of measure: CLIN 0001, Cellular Telephones, Quantity: 159, Unit: each Each telephone will come with a desktop charger, and auto charger, a laptop computer adapter, a carrying case or belt clip and hands free headset. CLIN 0002, Cellular Telephone Service, Quantity 12, Unit: Month. 350 minutes per month per telephone nation wide cellular telephone service with caller ID, call waiting, voice mail, free long distance and no roaming charges. All program minutes will be pooled for use by all the phones. The contractor shall provide Cellular communications services to support the United States Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Logistics Assistance Personnel stationed at various locations in the United States including Alaska and Hawaii. Number of telephones required: 159. Each phone will come with a desktop charger, an auto charger, a laptop computer adapter, a carrying case or belt clip and a hands free headset. Required service: A minimum of 350 minutes per month per telephone, Nation wide cellular telephone service, caller ID, call waiting, voice mail, free long distance and no roaming charges. All program minutes will be pooled for use by all the phones. Each p hone will be issued to employees with a number at his or her current geographical location. Distribution of Programmed telephones shall be arranged in coordination with the Readiness Directorate personnel -FOB origin. Period of Performance: The period of p erformance shall be 12 months from the date of contract award. An option for two additional periods of 12 months each is included. The provisions of FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, apply to this acquisition. Quotes will be evaluated based on best price. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with this offer. The FAR clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items, applies to this acquisition.
