Description

The Forest Service will be negotiating with the local contractor, Browning Ferris Inc. for collection of refuse in Missoula and Ravalli Counties, MT. This contract will be established using commercial items, performance-based requirements set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulations. Work will be at designated locations on the Bitterroot and Lolo National Forests, Fort Missoula Government Offices and the Aerial Fire Depot in Missoula, MT. Work is estimated to start approximately February 1, 2002. The performance period is for one year. The Government has the option to renew the contract for two additional one year periods. Other firms that may be able to provide these services should contact the above office no later than December 26, 2001 to receive a draft solicitation.
