Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA), Philadelphia requires the services of contractors to provide medical consultant services for the following specialties: Internal Medicine (IM), IM with Pulmonary Specialty, General Medicine/Family Practice, Cardiology, Thoracic Surgery, Neurology, Orthopedics, Physical Medicine/Rehabilitation, Oncology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Psychology, Ophthalmology, Speech and Language Pathology. This procurement will be for commercial item services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 12. Consultation services shall consist of the contractor's review of SSA Disability Case Files. There will be no contact with patients. Competitive pricing will be solicited and accepted. The period of performance shall be one- (1) year from the date of award, with provisions for the inclusion of four one-year option periods. Solicitation number SSA-RFQ-III-02-0001 is scheduled for release on or about December 17, 2001, with proposals due 21 days later. Requests for the RFQ should be received no later than 10 days after the date of this publication. No telephone requests for the RFQ will be honored. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. Proposals received from OTHER than small businesses will be deemed unacceptable and will be given no further consideration.
