Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Clause 52.212.4, Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (Except: A request for quotation has been issued at NECO website, www.neco.navy.mil.) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The Marine Corps Northeast Regional Contracting Office currently has a requirement for the following: RENTAL OF CONCERT HALL AND RELATED SERVICES TO SUPPORT THE MARINE CORPS BAND'S FY 2002 CONCERT SCHEDULE. CONCERT DATES AND TIMES AS FOLLOWS; 06 JAN 2002 (SUN) @ 2:00 PM 24 FEB 2002 (SUN) @ 2:00 PM 24 MAR 2002 (SUN) @ 2:00 PM 07 APR 2002 (SUN) @ 2:00 PM 02 MAY 2002 (THU) @ 7:30 PM 19 MAY 2002 (SUN) @ 2:00 PM COST TO INCLUDE ACCESS TO LOADING DOCK, CORRIDORS, DRESSING RMS, LOBBY, BACKSTAGE, AND STAGE AREAS. HVAC, CUSTODIAL, OPEN & CLOSE OF FACILITIES. HOUSE STAGE LIGHTING SYSTEM WITH BASIC WHITE STAGE WASH. HOUSE AUDIO SYSTEM WITH BASIC ANNOUCE AND PLAYBACK. CONSULTATION WITH PRODUCTION SERVICES STAFF. MUSIC STANDS, STANDARD ORCHESTRA CHAIRS, STAND LIGHTS, CONDUCTOR'S PODIUM. FACILITY ACCESS BEGINNING FOUR HOURS PRIOR TO CONCERT TIME ON EACH CONCERT DATE. (6) STEINWAY 'D" 9 ' GRAND PIANO AND BENCH; (6) PIANO TUNINGS BY DESIGNATED HOUSE TUNER; (6) ORCHESTRAL RISERS; (6) HOUSE EVENT MANAGER/COORDINATOR; (6) HOUSE STAGEHANDS (2); (6) FOLLOW SPOT; (6) FOLLOW SPOT OPERATOR; (6) AUDIENCE SERVICE SUPERVISOR; (6) REQUIRED RESTROOM ATTENDANTS (2); (6) SECURITY PERSONNEL; (6) EXTERIOR TRAFFIC CONTROL PERSONNEL; All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), the website address is www.ccr.gov.
