Description

The United States Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for construction services to repair existing dikes and revetments on the Missouri River between Rulo, Nebraska and St. Louis, Missouri. Repairs consist of placing new quarry-run stone as well as excavating notches, and salvaging and then reusing existing stone from specified dikes and revetments. Bid Schedule (estimated quantities): (1) 130,000 tons Stone Fill in dikes and revetments from Jefferson City to St. Louis MO; (2) 22,000 cubic yards Notch Excavation from Rulo, NE to Jefferson City, MO; (3) 52,000 cubic yards Notch Excavation from Jefferson City to St. Louis MO; and (4) 20,000 cubic yards Bank Excavation from Rulo, NE to Jefferson City, MO. The magnitude of this proposed procurement is between $1 and 5 Million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 234990 (All Other Heavy Construction) and the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1629. The Small Business size standard is $27.5 Million. This solicitation is unrestricted. Bids will be accepted from all interested responsible and responsive parties. The estimated time of completion is 8 months. Solicitation DACW41-02-B-0003 will be available on or about 08 January 2002. Proposals will be due on or about 08 February 2002. The solicitation will be issued on CD-ROM only. Hard copies will not be available. Copies of the CD-ROM are limited to one per firm.
