Description

Sources Sought/Request for Information: Bechtel Nevada is seeking sources for a GAMMA DETECTOR Nal (Tl), Bicron Model 2x4M6/2 or equal or Alpha Spectra Model 8Il6x24/2 or equal. Detector description: 2"X4"X6" NaI (Tl) integral line. Maximum dimensions: D2.65" X W4.4" X L12.25". Crystal housing: 032" aluminum, 95% efficient at 60 Kev. Maximum Shock: 5 G's. Maximum operating temperature: 55 degrees C. Photo-multiplier: 14 pin phenolic base, low background, 2" phototube with mu-metal shield. Output signal: Using Cs137; 15-40 milivolts into a 50 ohm load with 1000 VDC and 10 Meg voltage divider. Resolution at 662 Kev: 8.0% or better. Price to include full Two (2) year warranty.
