Description

This block is hereby changed to read as follows: The Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix, located in Fort Dix, New Jersey, has a requirement for ONE on-site dental assistant to provide services. Services will be required for a one-year base period, with a possibility for four one-year option periods for a total of sixty months from the date of award. The estimated quantities for each twelve (12) month period of the contract reads as follows: 1560 one-hour sessions. Dental assistants must have graduated from an allied health/technical school and posses a certification to perform dental assistant services along with a radiology license in order to perform intra-oral films. A security investigation/clearance is required. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer that will be considered for award. The solicitation will be available on or after December 12, 2001 and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this manner is determined to be in the Government's best interest. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, will also be distributed through this acquisition, including solicitation amendments. Anticipated issue date is approximately 12/12/01. The requirement is open to small and large business.
