Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The Reference Number associated with this acquisition is AV2R104100R177. The due date for quotes is December 17, 2001 NLT 10:00AM est. The Government intends to award this acquisition sole source to Rockwell Collins, Inc. under existing contract USZA95-01-C-0020. Rockwell Collins is the manufacturer and only known source for the requested parts, therefore no competition is anticipated. The requested part is as follows: 4 ea. IDAP ASPP, P/N: 822-0589-001, equip type #253W-1. It is the Government's intent to add this part quantity to Rockwell's existing contract (USZA95-01-C-0020). The delivery shall be to Raytheon E-Systems in Lexington, KY and FOB, Origin. The solicitation document, provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The following provisions and clauses are applicable to this solicitation: 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (to be completed and submitted with offer); 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items; and 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items.
