- Solicitation Number SP0450-02-R-1222, YPG01298001117, NSN 6830-01-370-6207, 1,1,1,2 Tetrafluoroethane, R-134A, Hazard Class/Division?2.2, I.D. No. UN3159. Label=20 Required?NonFlammable Gas. Unit Quantity Equals 19.4 KG (43 lb) Per Cylinder. Cylinder Maintenance and Reconditioning: The Cylinders shall be inspected, maintained and/or Reconditioned in accordance with the Product Specification and MIL-STD-1411. The Services to be performed shall be verified and deemed necessary by the QAR Prior to their being accomplished. Cylinder NSN 8120-01-370-8189, DOT 4BA or BW300 8.0 IN. O.D. by 27 IN HGT. With Valve Conforming to Rotarex Inc.., Cage 1B7W8, P/N 092252005000/ Dual Port Valve with 660 Outlet Connections. The Liquid Port of the Valve shall be securely equipped with a Polypropylene Eduction Tube with the Bottom cut at a 45 Degree Angle. The Tube shall reach to within 1 inch of but not touch the Bottom of the Cylinder. Inspect for and remove, if found, any Paint in the Throat (Bore) or on the Threads of the Valve Outlet. Removal of Over-spray or Splattering of Paint on other External Parts of the Value is not required. Treatment and Painting of Cylinders shall be by any Method/System that will Provide a finish that will meet the Requirements of Compressed Gas Association TB-17-2000. Tests 1,3,5,6 and 8 apply. The Cylinder shall be color coded and stenciled Per MIL STD 101B for Refrigerant Gases. A Non-Metalic Dust Cap shall be placed on the Outlet of each Valve. Line Item Number 0001, Quantity is 2108, Unit of Issue is CY, 60 Days ARO with a destination of Richmond, VA. Option to Increase Quantity is 100%. Unrestricted Solicitation. Automated Best Value System Applies: The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the Solicitation. The solicitation will issue on January 4, 2002 with a closing date of January 28, 2002.
