Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N66001-02-Q-0601 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The provisions and clauses are those in effect at the time of this publication. Award will be made using FAR Subpart 13.5, (Simplified Acquisition procedures) Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The government is seeking competitive quotations for twelve continuous lengths of 10km long Underwater Fiber Optic Cable to be delivered on twelve triple flanged reels. Delivery is required as early as 12 weeks after award is made. Details are shown in the Statement of Work.
