This is an amendment to the above-referenced presolicitation notice posted Nov. 30, 2001. The solicitation number has been changed from NIST(SBIR)2002 to SB1341-02-R-0016. The following research topics available for Phase 1 have been added: Polymer-based Chiral Stationary Phases; Automated Calibration System for Thermal Conductivity Vacuum Gauges; High Throughput Modification of Wide Bandgap Semiconductors for Device Performance Optimization; Polymer Coatings by Inkjet Methodology, Pervasive Computing, Accessible Computing Technology Integration and Demonstration; Optical Sensing and Control of Polymer Processing; Focusing Neutron Lenses; On-line, Non-destructive Measurement of Mechanical Properties of Metals and Alloys; Improved Magneto-Optical Indicator Films; Advanced Building Sensors and Information Systems; XML Schemas for Access Control Models; Technologies for Designing Web Sites in the Global Market; Mobile Workforce Privacy; and Mobile Code for Mobile Devices; Very High Accuracy Probe for Micrometer Scale Structure; High Efficiency Circular Array Secondary Electron Yield Detectors The solicitation and solicitation amendments will only be available via the Internet at the above website or www.nist.gov/sbir on or about January 1, 2002.
