Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for the repair of one Norwalk 5,000 PSI air compressor. The only known source is Norwalk Company, South Norwalk, CT. The air compressor shall be returned in new condition with a 12-month warranty. Place of delivery is Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA. Delivery required by 15 May 02. The sole source commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 18 Dec 01 with a closing date of 31 Dec 01. Per FAR 5.203(h), the solicitation closing date has been reduced to 17 days from this announcement. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer shall fax a request to 360-476-6479. An e-mail address must be included in the request. No telephone requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. To be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. Note 22 applies.
