Description

On 07 January 2002, the TACOM Rock Island Acquisition center will no longer mail Technical Data Package (TDP) Compact Disks (CDs) if the TDP contains 20 or fewer reference documents (Drawings, SQAPs, etc.) and the technical data is available on the World W ide Web. The technical data will be accessible from the TACOM Rock Island Solicitation page located at: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/Padds_web/index.html. Restricted TDPs (which are not currently posted to the web) will still be available only via CD. The substantial cost of processing CDs has necessitated taking this step. Until December 24th, 2001, TACOM Rock Island will review any comments provided regarding this measure and refine this process. Unrestricted TDPs of more than 20 reference documents will still be available via the web and CD. Please provide any comments t o AqRespond@ria.army.mil.
