Description
This project is to design and construct a new Aircraft Hydraulic/Pneudraulic Repair Facility at Hill AFB, Utah. The new building will provide for the testing, repair, overhaul, and maintenance of hydraulic/pneudraulic components for all active Air Force a ircraft systems, as well as Minuteman, Air Launch Cruise Missiles, and Advanced Cruise Missiles. The two level new building will have approximately a total of 4877 SM under roof. Rooms and spaces will include Assembly Repair, Blasting/Grinding, Break roo m, Disassembly, Electrical Room, Lapping, Non Destructive Inspection, Painting, Part Washers, Shipping/Receiving, Assembly/Test Stand, Communications Room, Dayton T Computer, Dayton T Test Stands, Equipment Support Center, Generator, Local Hydraulic, Netwo rk Computer, Noisy Test, Offices, Servo/Manifold and Valves, and other support spaces. Also included will be and underground electrical distribution lines. The project has the following options: Option 1: Air Compressor, Option 2: Vacuum System Pump, O ption 3: Clean Room Monitoring Equipment, Option 4: Paint Booth, Option 5: NDI Equipment, Option 6: Lockers, Option 7: Design and Construct Parking Lot, Option 8: Prewired Workbenches, Option 9: Design and Construct the building to allow for vertical exp ansion to three floors, Option 10: Design and Construct Roof at higher elevation, Option 11: Design and Construct Flo Grind Room, Option 12: Nitrogen System. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP). The proposals will be evaluated on the foll owing criteria: Design Experience, Construction Experience, Individual Experience, Construction Past Performance, Design Past Performance, Project Management, Technical Approach. This action is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Estimated Cost is $10,000,000.00 -- $25,000,000.00. The NAICS Code is 233310. Time for completion of this project is 730 days. Solicitation DACA27-02-R-0012 w ill be issued on approximately 28 December 2001 and receipt of proposals is 14 February 2002 at (4:30) p.m. (local time). There will be a Pre-Proposal conference on 15 January 2002. Additional information will be provided in the solicitation. The prepro posal conference is not mandatory, but will be the only opportunity to visit the site. This project is available on Compact Disk and the Internet.
