Description

The purpose of this amendment is to: 1) denote that from this point forth, this acquisition will be referred to as: "Engineering Directorate Configuration Management", 2) delete paragraph one of the description in its entirety and replace it with: "This acquisition is being offered under the SBA 8(a) Program and will be awarded on the basis of competition limited to eligible 8(a) concerns. 8(a) firms are encouraged to monitor this website, as the solicitation will be issued without further notice.", 3) delete paragraph two of the description in its entirety and replace it with the following: "NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for configuration management for the Engineering Directorate, including its offices and divisions. This procurement may include but is not limited to the following: a)Assemble and coordinate documentation products required for organization's Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Furnished (CFE)activities, b)Provide support for change request activities affecting organization's GFE products and CFE responsibilities c)Provide support for reviews of organization's activities and products requested by the organization, directorate and/or customer, d)Support for resource management activities required for products (including GFE) and services, e)Support for administrative activities, f)Support for facility documentation activities, g)Provide Configuration Management support for directorate activities." 3) delete paragraph eight of the description and replace it in its entirety with the following: "The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about January 25, 2002 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about February 25, 2002."
