Single award term contract for period Date of Award and ending November 30, 2002 for the Department of Defense (Navy). Production area, assumed 200-km (124-mile) radius of zero milestone Washington DC. Bidders outside area must furnish documentation of their ability to meet schedule. Copy pickup in Arlington, VA and returned to Washington Navy Yard, DC. From 1 to 120 orders per month. Orders may be placed daily. 15 orders may be placed in the same workday for as many as five days a week. Approximately 50 to 80,000 copies per order with approximately 8 to 600 pages per order. Approximately 19 orders will have from 1 to 10 fold-ins. Sizes: Text: 114 x 140 mm (4 x 5 ") up to 216 x 279 mm (8 x 11"). Fold-ins: Up to 279 x 914 mm (11 x 36") (maximum flat size includes apron). Print text pages: Print head to head in 1 to 4 ink colors. Print complete covers: Cover Page One and Backstrip, print 1 to 4 ink colors. Cover Pages 2, 3, and 4 are usually blank, but when required, may print in 1 to 4 ink colors. Fold-ins: May print face only or face and back, in 1 to 4 ink colors. Operations include electronic prepress, film making, printing, binding, packing, and delivery. Bids offered are f.o.b. destination. Quality attributes level III.
