Description

The Government intends to negotiate solely with Dialog Corporation for the procurement of access to over 450 databases from a broad range of disciplines. The VA expects to award a contract by December 28,2001. The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government for purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to compete with this proposed based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. All requests must be submitted in writing to the attention of Mrs. Ann Hannan and may be faxed to (617) 278-4546. No telephone calls will be accepted.
