Description

POINT OF CONTACT: JUANITA LYONS (561) 882-6516 Contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, materials, supervision and equipment necessary to provide, preventitive maintenance, inspection, repairs, tests, and emergency call back services for the water based fire protection system located at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical Center, 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33410-6400. The three (3) systems consist of one (1) main medical center building, one (1) nursing home care unit, and one (1) fisher house. These systems are to be maintained in accordance with the current edition of NFPA 25 and the manufacturer's specifications as well as JCAHO requirements. Period of performance is March 1, 2002 through February 28, 2003 with four (4) option years. All requests for solicitation documents must be in writing and must be received by the Contracting Officer within (15) calendar days of the publication of this notice. When requesting documents reference the IFB number and include the firm's name, point of contact, address and telephone number. The issue date for this solicitation is on or about January 14, 2002. The closing date is February 13, 2002 at 2:00 PM (EST). Telephone and Fax requests will not be accepted.
