- Synopsis: Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for Andrew Johnson National Historic Site Project P RA-ANJO 10(1), Greene County, Tennessee. The project consists of rehabilitation of Monument Avenue and the Visitor Center P arking Area, installation of curb, and other miscellaneous work. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $100,000 to $250,000. Bid documents are scheduled to be issued on or about January 15, 2002. Bids will be due on or about F ebruary 14, 2002. Interested parties should telephone 800-892-8776 to order bid documents. There is no fee for bid documen ts. Please call 703-404-6288 to verify availability of the bid documents. Final issue and due dates and the list of planho lders will be posted on our website under Procurement Information. Internet address: www.efl.fhwa.dot.gov. All requests for bid documents will be mailed first class. It is strongly recommended that requests for bid documents be received 7 cale ndar days before bid opening to ensure receipt of requested materials. Requests for 'faxing' or overnight mailing will not be accepted. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) The Department of Transportat ion (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assis tance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending Progr am (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at the pri me rate.
