Description

The USAF Academy Operational Contracting office has a requirment for a contractor to provide Mesh Athletic shorts for the Cadet Wing. The Academy seeks to acquire an estimated quantity of 4000 pairs of shorts mens and womens sizes small to X XXL, each year for a total of five years. This proposed contract would be a firm fixed price requirements contract with a b ase year and four option years. Exact sizes and quantities will be published with the solicitation with delivery required 3 0 April 2002. A first article shall be required within 30 days after date of contract award. Delivery shall be FOB Destina tion USAF Academy, CO 80840. Potential contractors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the requirements of the B uy American Act and particularly FAR Part 25 and the DFARS Part 225. The solicitation is scheduled to be released no later than 15 Jan 2002. As the solicitation will be completely available electronically, hard copies will not be issued.
