Description

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to award a sole source contract to Trusted Information Systems, NAI Labs, 3060 Washington Road (Rt.97),Gleenwood, MD. This requirement is for Architecture and Engineering Support for Defense Information System Network (DISN) Domain Name System Service (DNS). We intend to procure technical security engineering support for all aspects of securing the Domain Name System Service (DNS) and its infrastructure. The software development and support for the Domain Name Service Security Extension (DNSSEC) implementation for DNS servers and secure the DNS infrastructure within DOD. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue award other than full and open competition and should not be considered a request for competition proposals. The determination of the government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition is made IAW Far 6.302-1 and 10USC 2302(c)(1) and is solely at the discretion of the Government.
