Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 21 Consolidated Contracting Activity has a requirement for searchable scientific-medical full text database subscription services and intends to use sole source procurement to: Ovid Technologies, mc, 333 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10001. This sole source procurement is for appropriate licenses, subscriptions, necessary software and database access. This will be a Veterans Administration VISN 21 procurement. VISN 21 includes The VA Palo Alto Healthcare System, VA Northern California Health Care System, VA Sierra Nevada Health Care system, VA Central California Health Care System, the VA San Francisco Medical Center, and VA Medical Center Honolulu facilities. Service will include but is not limited to: searchable scientific-medical full text databases with access to complete tables of content, bibliographic citations, abstracts and references for articles in fill text databases. Bibliographic databases and full text journals linked to each other with over ten million links. The intended contract will be for a base period of one year with the government's option to extend the contract in one-year increments for two one-year option periods. The solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulations (VAAR). The NAICS code for this project is 811219 (annual income of 5.0 million or less). Qualified businesses other than the sole source company listed above wishing to receive a copy of this solicitation must submit in writing certification and evidence that they are able to provide and deliver all functionality and requirements listed herein including database and journal links and appropriate hardware and software licenses.
