Description

Sponsors of the 11th Annual Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) Workshop are seeking commercial vendors to exhibit their products and/or services for three days during the Workshop. This year, the Workshop is to be held at the Savannah Marriott Riv erfront hotel in Savannah, Georgia, on 19-23 August 2002. The 11th ITAM Workshop will focus on operations and environmental programs for sustaining military training lands and maintaining Army readiness. In addition to the main program of technical prese ntations at the Workshop, there will be several specialized sessions, including a one-day Geographic Information System(GIS) workshop, a Range Training Lands Program(RTLP) session, a Land Condition Trends Analysis(LCTA) workshop, and individual Major Army Command(MACOM) meetings. The 11th ITAM Workshop is the leading national forum for the scientific exchange of technologies, ideas, experiences, and lessons learned that relate to the application of Integrated Training Area Management(ITAM) technologies to the Army's military training lands. There will be approximately 500 decision-makers representing government and industry attending the Workshop. The 11th ITAM Workshop is being hosted by Fort Stewart, Georgia, the ITAM Installation Steering Committee, an d the Army Training and Support Center. All commercial vendors at the 11th ITAM Workshop will have the opportunity to present their displays in the Savannah Marriott Riverfront hotel. Due to current secuity concerns, the opportunity for vendors to presen t live demonstrations at Fort Stewart on Thursday, 22 August, will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All vendor exhibit arrangements will be made through the National Institute for Land Management and Training (NILMT) at Kansas State University, the conference support contractor.
