Due to the termination of the Commerce Business Daily (CBD), beginning on January 1, 2002, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. (FPI) will publish all special notices related to its operations in FedBizOpps, rather than in the CBD. This includes, but is not limited to, all notices related to: public decisions by FPI's Board of Directors, FPI's proposals for the production of new products or significant expansion of existing products, FPI's public involvement guidelines process, FPI's supply of products on a competitive basis, FPI's annual production sales ceilings, FPI's commercial services partnerships, FPI's "good faith" notices and the availability of FPI's sales and market share reports. All such FPI notices will appear in the "Special Notices" section of FedBizOpps. FedBizOpps may be accessed at www.fedbizopps.gov. Initiatives under FPI's New Business Development Program that were announced quarterly in the CBD will now be published in FedBizOpps. The program procedures can be viewed on FPI's Procurement website, www.unicor.gov/procurement. Interested parties have a right to comment or raise questions at anytime with FPI's Board of Directors.
