Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following is a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Purchase Request W91DW2-7151-A002. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20070426. It is the vendor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. All items are to be shipped directly to Bagram AF, Afghanistan, Attn: SSgt Curtis Alexander, APO AE, 09354. The items requested are as listed: 0001) 10 each, TACSAT Antenna, P/N: RF-308-AT001. Or Equal items are not acceptable. The following clauses applies to this solicitation: FAR 52.211-6, Brand name or equal (August 1999); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions (September 2005). The following clauses under 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items(November 2006) applies to this solicitation: 52.225-13, Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases (February 2006); 52.232-34, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer- Other than Central Contractor Registration (May 1999). The following FAR clauses also apply: 52.225-14, Inconsistency between English version and Translation of Contract (February 2000); 52.247-34, F.O.B. Destination (November 1991); and FAR 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference (February 1998). All clauses can be viewed on the Federal Acquisition Regulation website: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffara.htm. Please submit signed and dated quotes on company letterhead with unit prices, unit total prices, and any additional charges for expedited air delivery through FedEx, DHL, National Cargo direct to Bagram AF, Afghanistan, estimated delivery time, and, total offer amount. The U.S. Government will make an award to the lowest priced technically acceptable, responsible, contractor whose quote conforms to the solicitation. All offers must be submitted no later than 1630 Kabul/ 1200 GMT/ 0800 EST, 25 June 2007. Offers are to be emailed to curtis.l.alexander@afghan.swa.army.mil ; ATTN: SSgt Curtis Alexander. Reference the Purchase Request number. A copy of the Brand Name justification memo will be provided upon request.
