The solicitation will be available only on our regional website at www.pn.usbr.gov/contracts/service, on June 6, 2007. To be included on the offeror list, interested offerors must register on our website www.pn.usbr.gov/contracts/service. Offerors are responsible for checking our website frequently for amendments or notices, particularly before submitting their offers. Telephone requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. We reserve the right to issue the solicitation on paper or CD-Rom if it becomes necessary, and if you are registered at our local website, you will be notified by email. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 621210. The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Regional Office, provides acquisition/administrative support services for the Dept of Labor's Columbia Basin Job Corps Center in Moses Lake, Washington. The Center has a requirement for professional dental services for approximately 250 students enrolled at the Center. Services are to be performed at the Center. The Center provides a fully-equipped dental facility, including all supplies and equipment required for performance of the services - the Contractor provides only labor. Services include: preventive dental health education; routine dental exam for each new student; individual diagnosis and treatment plans for each new student; all necessary dental procedures; services of a dental hygienist and dental assistant; and, providing advice and recommendations regarding student dental care to Center staff. Estimated hours required: dentist, 10 hours per week; hygienist, 10 hours per week; dental assistant, 15 hours per week. The contractor must also have available, or make arrangements to have available, facilities within the local commuting area of Moses Lake, WA for 24 hour on-call emergency services - approximately five calls per year. Offerors (dentist and dental hygienist) must be licensed to practice in the State of Washington. Reclamation intends to award one (or more) fixed-price contracts. The period of performance shall be for one year beginning approximately July 1, 2007, through June 30, 2007, with four option years to renew. These services will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 15. Any award will be based on the best value to the Government. This requirement is SET-ASIDE for small business. We will evaluate past performance, experience, and price and price-related factors to determine the best value. These factors are subject to change and the offerors will need to review sections L and M of the solicitation.
