The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 19, 2007. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: This project will install a new multimode fiber backbone at Sagamore Hill National Historic Site (SAHI) which is capable of supporting Gigabit applications. The work shall include all labor, material, equipment and all associated incidentals as per drawings and specifications. Solicitation Number: Q1880070002. LOCATION: Sagamore Hill National Historic Site, 20 Sagamore Hill Road, Oyster Bay, New York 11771. The NAICS code for this project is 235210 and the small business size standard is $13.0 million. Contract duration is 90 days following notice to proceed. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is a Request for Proposal (RFQ) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Parts 13 and 15. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women-owned business enterprises. Individual requests for solicitation packages will NOT be accepted.
