Description

This modification is required to better explain the specifications required for the waste/fish grinders for Amistad National Recreation Area. All incorporated provisions and clauses remain in effect, under the combined synopsis/solicitation for commericial items. The solicitation number remains Q7350070003. Item Description: 2 each, waste grinders. Waste Grinders must have a 5 horse power single phase motor with an in-line cutter/grinder mechanism capable of grinding fish and fish (pieces) solids up to ten pounds in single weights in a continuous stream. The grinder/cutter system will have 8" inlet and outlet flanges made of ductile iron or suitable stronger material. The entire system must be water proof and easily maintained with a minimum of moving parts. The cutter/grinder assembly will be removable with out the need of removing the motor and or housing for maintenance, repair and replacement operations. The ideal unit will have the similiar design and operational capabilities as the PWCE, Muffin Monster, Model 3000, and Model Number 1304-1208T or approved equal.
