- AMENDMENT NO. 2, MOROVITZ ROADS CULVERT PURCHASE, MT BAKER RANGER DISTRICT 1) CLARIFICATION OF THE SPECIFICATIONS: The high density polyethylene culverts shall be 18-inch, 24-inch, 36-inch, and 48-inch diameter conforming to the following: PIPE REQUIREMENTS 12"-48" Pipe shall meet the requirements of AASHTO M294, Type S or ASTM F2306. JOINT REQUIREMENTS 12"-48" Pipe joined using bell & spigot shall meet the requirements of AASHTO M294 or ASTM F2306. The joint shall be soil tight and gaskets, when applicable, shall meet the requirements of ASTM F477. MATERIAL PROPERTIES Virgin material for pipe shall be high density polyethylene conforming with the minimum requirements of cell classification 435400C (as described in the latest version of ASTM D3350, except that carbon black content should not exceed 5%). Certification is required before delivery. 2) FOR THE (6) SIX 48" DIAMETER CORRUGATED POLYETHYLENE CULVERTS, ALL ARE TO BE WITH BELL-AND-SPIGOT 3) THE DUE DATE FOR RECEIPT OF QUOTATIONS HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JUNE 20, 2007 3:00 PM PDT. ALL ELSE REMAINS THE SAME. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (11-JUN-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
