Description
Scope of Contract The contract will be to provide janitorial services in accordance with the specifications and commercial practices in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat and professional appearance. Contractor shall perform the required janitorial services at the designated Government building in accordance with provisions and requirements in the solicitation. Location and Description Location: Olympia Forestry Science Laboratory located at 3625 93rd Ave., SW, Olympia, WA. Description: The work area consists of the Olympia Forestry Science Laboratory, which is approximately 15,400 square feet. It is occupied by both office and field personnel and includes both carpeted and linoleum floor spaces, a public reception area, conference room, library, supply room, six (6) public bathrooms, four (4) wet chemistry laboratories, a growth chamber room, and a washer/dryer and locker room. The six bathrooms include a total of approximately ten (10) toilets, between one (1) and three (3) urinals, ten (10) sinks and eight (8) stall structures. The Government intends to place one award for the described services. The awarded Contractor shall perform the required work items in accordance with the specifications using commercial practices in a professional and workman-like manner. Successful fulfillment of all contract requirements will ensure satisfactory performance. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award.
