- RECOVERY PROJECT NUMBER HC107D - USACE, Vicksburg District, has a requirement to supply and install a replacement for Lake Chicot Pumping Plant Motor Control Center and Substation. The Contractor shall furnish, deliver, and install a motor control center, with 5kV switchgear, motor starters, and 480V substation. The installation will include the following: removal and disposal of the existing 5kV switchgear, including the existing lightning arrestors located in the motor terminal cabinets; removal and disposal of the existing 480V substation; a new 5kV switchgear equipment; new 480V double-ended substation equipment; minor concrete and grout work for equipment mounting and anchoring; and touch-up/repair to paint where necessary. The Contractor is also required to provide training of project personnel, which shall be conducted at the Project. All work performed is required to comply with the site operation, environmental protection, and safety and health provisions. Solicitation Number W912EE-10-T-0019 will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web Page at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 1 February 2010. Hardcopies will not be available. Offerors should check the FedBizOpps Web Page often for new solicitations and/or changes (AMENDMENTS) to existing ones.
