- Description
- The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), has a requirement for Demolition of Dilapidated Structures in the Endangered Species Complex, Coburn Area and Headquarters Area to include the Game Bird Yard. This project is for demolition of approximately 47 assets that are dilapidated, unused, unsafe or otherwise excess research structures. The location and place of performance Patuxent Research Refuge (PRR) Patuxent Wildlife Research Center (PWRC), 12311 Beech Forest Road, Laurel, MD. The Government anticipates award of a non-commercial, Firm Fixed Price type contract. The procurement is anticipated to include a period of performance beginning with Notice to Proceed through 09/30/2010. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on the internet on or about 01/26/2010. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). A formal solicitation, statement of work, and technical exhibits are not available for release at this time. This requirement is being issued under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238910 and the size standard is 14.0 million. The magnitude of construction is $250,000 - $500,000. There is not an incumbent contractor. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the Act. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract.
