Description
Architect-Engineer (A/E) Services under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide complete Type A (Investigative), Type B (Design), and Type C (Inspection and Testing) Services. This IDIQ contract will be for Architectural/Civil/Structural and Mechanical/Electrical Design Services for the Montana National Guard. Work performed under this contract may be throughout the state of Montana. The work is to provide design services for various Real Property Maintenance (RPM) projects and potential new construction projects. It is the Government's intent to place orders for the preparation of project books/statements of work for separate projects. The resultant contract shall be established for the base year and four (4) option years. The criteria for A/E selection, in order of importance, are (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of the required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required, including, experience in fire suppression and detection systems, energy conservation, force protection/anti-terrorism measures; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time frame; (4) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; (5) Location in the geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; (6) Volume of work awarded by DOD during the past twelve months. The estimated yearly cost range is $5,000 to $200,000. A guaranteed minimum fee of $5,000 shall apply to the base year only. The contract shall be Firm Fixed Price. Architect and Engineering firms that meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit one (1) completed copy of each of Standard Form (SF) 330 (Parts I and II) as well as an SF 330 (Parts I and II) for each consultant to the JFHQ-MT, ATTN: CPT Bryan Baldwin, Purchasing and Contracting Office, 1956 Mt Majo St./P. O. Box 4789, Fort Harrison, MT 59636-4789. Summissions may also be submitted electronically to bryan.j.baldwin@us.army.mil. This project is advertised on an unrestricted basis. Submissions must be received not later than 5:00PM Mountain Standard Time on 19 FEB 10, in order to be considered for selection.
