- The FCC intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Cost Quest 6261 Ash Bourne Pl, Cincinnati, OH 45233 for an increase to the ceiling of their existing indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract. The increase in ceiling is necessary to facilitate additional requirements associated with delivered software database and model. The additional work required consists of modifications to the model for refinement of the searching capabilities and maintenance of the model developed by Cost Quest. Cost Quest also owns or licenses intellectual property that enables it to uniquely model and calculate costs to deploy various types of broadband technology according to established engineering rules and costs. This requirement is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act). This serves as notification of the Federal Communications Commission solicitation to procure additional services from Cost Quest once the ceiling is increased materials to support the development of the Broadband Plan. If your company can provide the services as specified above, please provide information that documents your ability to provide the required service to bridget.gauer@fcc.gov by February 8, 2010 12pm EST. This contract action will be funded with funds form the Recovery Act and the contractor and their first-tier subcontractors will be subject to the requirements of that statute.
