- The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for a purchase order for tour guide services for the Flaming Gorge Dam. The Dam is located in Dutch John, UT. Project Description: Tour Guide Services for Flaming Gorge Dam The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 713990. This acquisition falls under FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, which authorizes the use of simplified acquisition procedures. Solicitation R10PS40013 will be posted at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about January 27, 2010. The estimated date for receipt of quotes is February 10, 2010. The solicitation and specifications must be downloaded at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed. Contractor Registration (CCR) as required by FAR 4.1102 applies to this requirement. In addition, FAR 4.1200 Annual Representations and Certifications, Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) apply to this requirement. Prospective contractors must be registered prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR and ORCA database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Furthermore, information on ORCA can be obtained via the Internet at http://orca.bpn.gov.
