- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number QA133W-10-RQ-0258 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-28. This procurement is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334513 with a small business size standard of 500 employees or less. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Data Buoy Center requires the following items: Item 0001: Quantity of 10 each MP101A-C4-MS (or equal) humidity probes. This is a brand name or equal solicitation. The physical characteristics consists of: Humidity Probes with NDBC upgrade: output 0-1 vdc=0 to 100% RH & 0-1 vdc = 40 to 60 deg. C, 1 meter attached pigtail cable w/o connector, stainless steel set screws & hardware, silicon grease coated o-rings, conformal coated PC board MF25MP full length teflon/foam moisture resistant filters, internal desiccant pack, and 1-year standard warranty. The required delivery date for items 0001 is on or before March 6, 2010.
