- AG-82B1-S-10-0088 Handicapped Accessible Fishing Piers The resulting contract will utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. Interested parties are notified that the inclusion of unique provisions required in implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency, will be required of the successful vendor. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and attached solicitation. Quotes are being solicited by the USDA, Forest Service for Handicapped Accessible Fishing Piers located on the Rio Grande National Forest, Rio Grande County, Colorado. This project is to provide six prefabricated modular floating fishing piers that are handicapped accessible. The manufacturer is responsible for delivery and unloading of the piers. This requirement is being solicited as a Firm-Fixed Price Commercial Item Request for Quote. Quotes are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, February 8, 2010. The solicitation is currently available and attached to this synopsis. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) http:www.ccr.gov and shall complete the On-Line Registration and Certifications Application (ORCA) http://orca.bpn.gov.. All responsible sources may submit a response to this announcement which will be considered by this agency.
