- Description
- RECOVERY The management and operating contractor is responsible for the management of these funds. Since the management and operating contract is a cost type contract these funds can not be added as fixed price. This action funds Fusion Energy Sciences Infrastructure Improvements for Innovative Confinement Concepts Experiments by upgrading diagnostics, heating systems, power supplies, neutral beams, a vacuum vessel, a spectrometer, and other experimental equipment on existing projects. Funds are also provided for the Fusion Energy Sciences Infrastructure Improvements for General Plasma Sicence User Faciltiies to provide improvements in infrastructure, including hardware, upgraded diagnostics, new probes, improved data acquisition and analysis, and will enhance the scientific contributions of General Plasma Science projects.
