Description: JANITORIAL / CUSTODIAL AND MECHANICAL SERVICES (O&M) AT US FEDERAL BUILDING (FB), LACONIA, NH AND AT SOCIAL SECURITY BUILDING (SSA), LITTLETON, NH. SOLICITATION #: NH0010ZZ THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this notice. No solicitation or specifications are available at this time. The General Services Administration (GSA), New England Region, North Service Center Branch, is seeking a Small Business concern with current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capability to perform the work described herein. This requirement is for Janitorial / Mechanical Maintenance and related services. The contractor will provide all management, labor, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to accomplish the work in a responsible, cost efficient, environmentally friendly manner. Services shall be performed in accordance with the most stringent of all federal, state, and local codes and regulations. In addition, the contractor shall follow all applicable standard industry practices. FB Laconia is a 2 story building with 40,417 gross SF and a net cleaning area of 30,924 SF. The facility has 3862 SF of carpeted floor and 27,062 SF of bare floor respectively. There is a tenant population of 125. SSA Littleton is a 1 story building with 4,777 gross SF a net cleaning area of 4,615 SF. The facility has 4,039 SF of carpeted floor and 576 SF of bare floor respectively. There is a tenant population of 16. Services to be provided at both locations include operating, maintaining and repairing all building mechanical, electrical and utility apparatus and systems installed at the buildings,as well as general cleaning, restroom cleaning, window care, grounds care, pest control, snow removal, and miscellaneous special cleaning. The contractor will also be responsible for required reports/submittals, attendance at various meetings, and performance of other special requirements. The anticipated award will be a firm fixed price, contract with a term of 1 base year with four (4) one year options. All qualified Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. One of the main purposes of this Sources Sought Notice is to assist the Contracting Officer in determining if a 100% Small Business Set-Aside is the acceptable strategy for the procurement. The Government anticipates a contract award for these services in July 2010. The appropriate NAICS Code is 561720 (Janitorial /Custodial and Related Services) with a size standard of $16.5 million dollars. It is requested that interested parties submit a brief capabilities package. The package shall address, at a minimum, the following: (1)Examples of contracts within the last five years of similar size, scope and complexity as the work indicated. State whether your firm worked as a prime or subcontractor, contract value, brief description of how the referenced contract relates to the work described, and provide an agency point of contact. (2)Company profile, to include number of employees, annual receipts, office location(s), and DUNS number. (3)Indicate if you are a Small Business and the Small Business category(s) you qualify as. The capabilities package requested under this Sources Sought Notice is not expected to be a proposal, but rather a short statement regarding the company’s ability to demonstrate existing expertise and experience in relation to this procurement. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the capabilities package. Submission of a capabilities package is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the General Services Administration in tailoring its requirements to be consistent with industry standards.
