- Description
- ACC AMIC intends to award a combination Fixed Price/Cost Plus Award Fee modification to Battlespace Flight Systems, LLC IAW 10 USC 2304(c) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source to increase Combat Air Patrols (CAPs) and exercise option year 4 of contract FA4890-07-0006, MQ-1 Predator maintenance support. The contract was competitively awarded to Battlespace Flight Services, LLC to provide organizational-level maintenance, weapons loading, logistics, equipment, and aerospace ground equipment (AGE) support at Creech AFB, NV and forward-deployed locations in Iraq and Afghanistan and communications reach back support at Ramstein AB, Germany. The additional CAPs must be operational on 1 Apr 2010 at various forward-deployed locations. The additional CAPs and the exercise of Option Year 4 will increase the contract value in excess of $100M and will permit the continuation of performance of the current contract while the requirement is recompeted. The NAICS code for this procurement is 488190, Other Support Activities for Air Transportation. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and no solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement detailed above. Information received by close of business 28 January 2010 will be considered by the Government solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
