- (SPECIAL NOTICE) FOR INFORMATION ONLY - AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROJECT. This opportunity is available ONLY to Contractors under the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service's Multiple Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for Invasives. This is a 100% ARRA Project PROJECT DESCRIPTION: American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) project(s) for contractor to perform work that entails 1) invasive ground treatment and herbicide treatment for vegetation/stump removal of hardwood trees and shrubs required to restore wetland swales on approximately 1084 acres within Florida Scrub Jay Habitat located at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and 2) invasive control of vegetation/pines on approximately 855 acres of Florida Scrub Jay Habitat located at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, supplies and perform all work required for this work.
