- The United States Army Contracting Command, CECOM Contracting Center intends to award a 5 Year, Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract for acquisition of alternator, P/O the 30kW 50/60Hz Tactical Quiet Generator (TQG) sets, NSN 6115-01-395-6535, Marathon Electric Manufacturing Corp (CAGE 38151), P/N 88-21007, or NSN 6115-001-578-3456, Marelli USA, Inc. (CAGE 5AW17) P/N MJB2032L61E4 in accordance with the Government's Source Controlled Drawing No. 88-21007. This proposed acquisition for this commercial part is for limited competition between Marathon Electric Manufacturing Corp., Wausau, WI, Marelli USA, Inc., Harrodsburg, KY, or their distributors. The alternators supplied on this contract shall be the alternator, part number 88-21007 as supplied by Marathon, CAGE 38151, or alternator, part number MJB2032L61E4 as supplied by Marelli USA, CAGE 5AW17. Bidders must submit certification with their bid showing that the proposed alternator has been manufactured by Marathon, CAGE 38151, part number 88-210007, or Marelli USA, CAGE 5AW17, part number MJB2032L61E4. Distributors part numbers are acceptable provided the original part numbers are as stated above. It is essential that these items are the same models as those currently fielded to ensure interchangeability. The NAICS code is 335312 with the corresponding small business size standards of 1,000 employees. Shipments are to be FOB Destination to New Cumberland Army Depot (DODAAC W25G1U), with Inspection/Acceptance at Source. The potential offeror must have the ability to abide by the following delivery schedule: 25 each 120 days after receipt of order (ARO) and 25 each month thereafter until completion. The guaranteed minimum value is $25,791.00. The maximum dollar/ceiling value is $5,400,000.00. This award will be made under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, using Sealed Bidding procedures. Instructions for bids will be posted in the solicitation, refer to 'Electronic Submission of Bids on IBOP.' All Parties interested in doing business with the CECOM Contracting Center are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil.
