- This is the synopsis for the annual Bulk Fuel procurement for the Rocky Mountain/West Coast region. The ordering period is the date of award through September 30, 2011. The delivery period is October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011 plus a 30 day carry-over period. The method of delivery will be by tanker, barge, truck, railcar, and/or pipeline. The total estimated quantities are as follows: Turbine Fuel, Aviation, JP-8, 9130-01-031-5816, PP 2.2b, 649,170,000 USG, Turbine Fuel, Aviation, JP-5, 9130-00-273-2379, PP 2.2d, 143,500,000 USG, Fuel, Naval Distillate, F-76, 9140-00-273-2377, PP 2.5b, 134,175,000 USG, Turbine Fuel, Aviation, JP-4, 9130-00-256-8613, PP 2.2b, 1,225,000 USG, Turbine Fuel, Aviation Jet B, 9130-01-234-1737, PP 2.2b (alternate for JP-4), Turbine Fuel, Aviation, Jet A, 9130-00-359-2026, PP 2.2a, 35,000,000 USG. Offers are due no later than March 18, 2010 at 3:00 PM local time (Ft. Belvoir). A www posting notice will be sent to firms on the solicitation mailing list on the date the Rocky Mountain/West Coast RFP is issued and posted on the DESC home page.
