Description
Below are some questions asked by vendors. QUESTIONS: 1) Please verify that the Government is covering the cost of the shipping of the container. 2) Item 2.1 is posed as a question versus a statement. 3) The pics provided show an air conditioner, but the spec does not show a separate opening. Pls clarify. 4) The pics provided show conduit, but the spec does not mention anything electrical. Pls clarify. 5) There is no requirement for the studs to be mechanically fastened to the interior of the container. Pls clarify. ANSWERS: 1) If local it will be picked up via will call otherwise shipping will be paid for by the government and setup/handled by our shipper. 2) You can end this sentence with " The rear wall will be 10" ~ 20" on center. ". The "jindo type" container might come with several different corrogation variations - dimensions that can vary slightly between manufacturers so this was intended to be a catch-all phase. 3) & 4) The pictures are just examples of unistrut configuration on the bulkead's vertical and horizontal surfaces. There is no request for electrical in this spec sheet. We do that in house after the shell is built! 5) With the header type construction the verticle studs can be tow nailed to the wooden floor at the bottom and the ceiling joist sits or caps on top of the wall plate. When the unistrut is applied to all the studs it acts like a roll bar cage and stiffens the whole structure & secures it.
