- Description
- The Phoenix Job Corps Center is accepting bids for Physician services to serve four hundred fifty students (450) located at 518 South 3rd Street, Phoenix, Arizona. The physician will develop, implemented, and monitor the total center health and wellness program, to help students become and stay employed, including ensuring the maintenance, confidentially, and safeguarding of all health records. Stay current on Job Corps policies and procedures via frequent communication with the center's HWM and review of Job Corps health and wellness. Provide a cursoy medical inspection for each student within the first 48 hours after arrival on center, and a definitive medical examination and health history of each student, within fourteen days of arrival on center. Make necessary referrals for specialist and institutional care and assisting in reviewing follow-up information from such off center referrals. Provide a system of 24-hour emergency back-up coverage/referral. Advise the center director and health services staff on all medical and health related matters. The phyician will work 18 - 22 hours per week, effective April 1, 2010 through January 31, 2012. A scope of work can be obtained upon request.
