- Amendment 03 Questions received 1/20/2010 forwarded to Steven Schwartz and Stephen Kendrot 1. The desk top> do you want radius corner on inside and outside corners? (safety issue) A - No 2. Do you want back splashes around desk top 4" tall made from same material that desk top is? A - No 3. What do you want the desk top to be finished with Formica, solid surface.or other what color? A - (Formica, Please provide color samples of standard colors to pick from) 4. Deck top supports do you want legs or do you want 45 deg bracking A - ( Would prefer 45 deg bracking but must be strong, will have people leaning on it and have 6 computers and monitors on it, if legs are needed than please show drawing of leg layout and type.) would you like to have draws under desk top and if so how many or cabinets? (optional) NO 5. I have counted 20 elec duplex outlets is that right? A - No ( 28- 1 in bath room,1 in kitchen, 1 in hall, 6 over new computer counter, 12 in offices four in each, 5 in meeting room and 2 in middle of floor of meeting room) 6. I have counted 13 data outlets this that right? A - No (10- 3 in the offices one in each, 6 over new computer counter and 1 in middle of floor of meeting room) 7. I have counted 6 telephone out let is that right A - No (there are 4 -3 in offices one in each and 1 in meeting room),data and phone can be combined on cat 5? (In the same box on the wall they can run both phone and data lines two separate lines not on the same line and put a face plate on the box with the data jack and the phone jack in it. This can be done in the offices only there is no were else on this project that it can be combined and will have to be run separately.) 8. Are you calling desk height 27 inch or can you tell me exact height. A - (29 inch to the top) 9. the vinyl coated wire shelving 12" where are they to be mounted? A - (Closet, Kitchen and Bath room) over desk top?No or some other location is shelving to be mounted in closet? Yes can not figure out location base of LF of 7' please clarify. (2 LF on bath wall, 2 LF on kitchen wall, 3 LF in closet. Approximately) 10. The 1/8x12x12 Vinyl block tile to cover all of the 1344sqft what color? A - (Please provide color samples of standard colors to pick from), the rubber exterior flooring 36ftsf is covering bath room flooring or other. please clarify. A - (This was for an out door landing at front door not there any more but if your building has an outside landing than use it there. ) 11. Are the steps Wood or Aluminum? A - They can be Either This was to be a general specifications and each of the different bidders may have slightly different buildings so quantities may change some. I do not want to hear that they provided 1344 sqft of flooring and it takes 1400 sqft of flooring to floor the building after the bid. The bidders need to bid the project complete. Thanks
