Description

This announcement is for a new solicitation for the purchase of classroom textbooks, in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR Part 12.6) as supplemental with additional information included in this announcement for the Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Bureau of Indian Eduction (BIE), Western Regional Office (WRO). The DOI/BIA-BIE/WRO has a requirement for the purchase of classroom textbooks. The textbooks are to be delivered to the Keams Canyon Boarding School in Keams Canyon, Arizona, in northern Arizona. This notice is hereby issued as RFQ No. RA001110037. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a quote. Quotes shall be submitted to Geraldine Williams, 2600 North Central Avenue, 4th Floor, Phoenix, Arizona 85004, or emailed to geraldine.williams@bia.gov by the close of business, 4:00pm Local Time, on Thursday, January 28, 2010. This a full and open competitive acquisition. The NAICS for this acquisition is 511130. This solicitation is funded by American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), Public Law 111-5; and the contractor shall comply with ARRA statute and all applicable laws, regulations, provisions, policies, procedures, and clauses, including but not limited to meeting the requirements of Sec. 1512 of the ARRA and other accountability and transparency conditions. QUOTATIONS/SUBMITTALS The RFQ/Solicitation will be available Friday, January 22, 2010. Email quotations are acceptable: geraldine.williams@bia.gov. DELIVERY. This contract to begin February 1, 2010 and end March 19, 2010. CONTRACT CLAUSES: This notice hereby issued as RFQ No. RA001110037. This RFQ will be conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12. The provisions and clauses are incorporated in the RFQ/Solicitation, and in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2005-26). DOI/BIA/Western Regional Office requires that all contractors doing business with the Government are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA).
