- In accordance with A.M.S.3.2.1.3.12 of the Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS), industry is hereby informed that the FAA has a potential maximum five-year (a two-year base period and three one-year option periods) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract requirement to provide engineering, technical, analytical, and planning assistance in support of FAA programs involving monitoring, measuring, analyzing and improving National Airspace System (NAS) operational performance, as more specifically described in Attachment 1, which includes the Draft Statement of Work (SOW). The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and knowledge, experience and capabilities from vendors capable of providing such services. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This is not a solicitation. This notice is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) of any kind. This notice does not restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach, nor should it be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not reimburse any costs for providing information, documentation, and/or data submitted or preparation costs for submittals in response to this notice. Therefore, any costs associated with the market survey are solely at the interested vendor expense. Since this is for informational and planning purposes, no evaluation letters or results will be issued to respondents. Interested vendors must respond with information that describes their qualifications and capabilities to meet the requirements in the SOW. Refer to Attachment 1 for information required to be submitted. The FAA intends to review all response submittals to gain an understanding of the knowledge, experience, and capabilities of participants in the subject market.
