- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled KU WIDE-BAND SATELLITECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM AND SERVICE which was posted on 1/20/2010. You are notified thatthe following changes are made: *This project requires that Ku Satellite band width sufficient enough to support the full duplex- bi-directional Ku communications requirements be purchased in support ofthis effort. Due to limitations in the aircraft hardware and on the Ku ground terminalhardware being used to support this operation and the need for a continuous uninterruptedKu link to be maintained during the six flights a single satellite, multi-transpondersolution is required. We require one satellite service provider capable of providing asingle satellite- multiple transponder solution to provide transponder coverage of allsix of the GLOPAC mission flight profiles in the northern and southern pacific. The due date for responses is not extended.Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation andany amendments. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy ofthe solicitation and amendments (if any).
