- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE This notice is for project No. 526-08-405, RENOVATE GF FOR FMSC at the James J. Peters Bronx VAMC, 130 W. Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, New York 10468. This shall be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. - This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220, and has a size standard of $33.5 Million. - The cost estimate range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000.000. Work includes but is not limited to: 1.2 STATEMENT OF BID ITEM(S) A.ITEM I, GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: Renovation of area GF at ground floor of Building No. 100 James J. Peters VA Medical Center for Facility Management Service Center. Work includes general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, and necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. Work includes but is not limited to: demolition of existing ceilings and walls, construction and renovation of new waiting and reception area and offices, conference room, storage room, kitchenette area, toilets. New ceilings are to be installed throughout the entire space. Work to include Fireproofing of existing structural beams at approximately 800 feet of space. All Construction shall take place in several phases as described in the drawings. Duration of work: 6 months/ 200 Calendar Days B.ALTERNATE NO.1: Corridor Area as indicated on Architectural Floor plan on drawings AE101.1. All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation will be released on or around February 5, 2010. The bid submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all bid submissions shall be in hardcopies; faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. All bidders shall be registered in www.ccr.gov, www.vetbiz.gov, and www.orca.bpn.gov prior to award of this project. -End of Description-
